The 24 Hour Outdoor Game will honor the history of hockey in Western Mass and raise awareness for our youth programs and adult leagues. A temporary ice surface will be set up on the grounds of the Big E, directly behind the Coliseum.
On-ice games are "weather permitting" and there are no refunds for weather-related cancellations. If the ice is not available, a ball-hockey arena has been set up in proximity to the rink.
Pond hockey or "shinny" rules apply. No lifting the puck, no goalies (pond hockey nets are supplied), and no checking.
Teams will play 3-on-3 (adults) and 4-on-4 (youth). Each team receives one hour of ice / ball hockey. All players receive 2 tickets to the Feb. 10 Falcons game and will be recognized as part of Team 24.
Upon registering, you will receive information on completing payment for your participation in The 24 Hour Outdoor Game.
